| Saying goodbye to our old house! |
|
So now that I have updated you on the ministry, I thought I would give you a quick update on the family.
In March, we moved houses! This was a pretty big deal for our family, as it was the longest we have ever lived in the same house. Fortunately, we only moved right across the street...so our lives weren't turned too upside down. We now have three bedrooms and can split up all these crazy kids that keep us up 'til all hours at night playing together!
Shortly after that, we made the long journey to South Africa for our annual meeting. It was a great time to step back from ministry and the busyness of life and enjoy a little R&R. We were even able to spend Easter with friends from around Africa!

| Pre-Surgery |
During our time in South Africa, the ophthalmologists decided Titus
needed surgery on his eye for a worsening drift. This kept us over in SA
a few weeks longer than we expected, but we were glad to have the
medical care to get it taken care of. The surgery went well, but was
quite traumatic (more for me than for Titus)!

| Post-Surgery |
We are now back home in Mada, and trying to finish out strong before stateside begins in August. We are trying to get in as much beach time as possible in the midst of all the work to be done. Eli is still working through 4th grade. We have about one month left before we finish up. Next fall, while in the states, he will be able to attend a private Christian school at our local church. He is pretty excited to be in "real" school for a while, and I have to admit that I am ready for a little break myself!

| Jude |
Titus and Jude are keeping me pretty busy in the moments in between taking care of a new baby and homeschooling Eli. They never run out of new and creative ways to reek havoc on the house! Fortunately, they love spending time together (when they aren't trying to kill each other). It has been fun watching these brothers grow up as best friends!
 |
| Malachi |
Malachi is almost 6 months old. I have to keep reminding myself to take pictures to document his growth. Being a fourth definitely has its drawbacks! He has been a really fun baby. It is so interesting how each child is so unique in personality. Eli is the calm, responsible first child. Titus the sensitive second. Jude the active, care free third. I can't wait to see how Malachi turns out!
