New Friends!

This past month has been filled with many big changes for our team.  We said goodbye to the Roberts family (more about this in another post!) and welcomed 2 more families to Tulear.  The Fletchers arrived in August, with just enough time to get settled, pack up and head out to South Africa for the arrival of their second little girl!  They will be working as church planters with the Vezo fishermen along the coast.

The Sprankle family arrived this past week.  They will be working among the Masikoro people, who live north of Tulear.  They made a quite and entrance to Tulear.  After driving for two days, and less than an hour away from Tulear, one of the trucks they were driving flipped coming around a sharp turn.  Despite giving us all a scare, God is good and protected everyone in the vehicle!

It feels like we have been waiting for these families to arrive for a while, and no one could be more excited than my three little boys.  What is better than some new friends?  And for Eli, these kids will be his very first classmates - school just got a whole lot more exciting! : )

Not too bad considering it was laying on its side!
