Winter Time Fun

As life heats up in America, the temps have cooled here in southwest Madagascar. Although most people would still consider this weather summer-like, we are enjoying cuddling up in blankets and drinking hot chocolate. Laugh all you want - but 70 degrees does feel cold when you are use to 100 degree temps the rest of the year! One thing we do share in common with the American summer, is the fun and fellowship of this time of the year. We are having a blast hanging out and enjoying life together. We have had several short-term visitors over the past few months and our house is always full of people. It seems like every other day we are celebrating a birthday, a holiday, having a game night, or just hanging out! Here are a few pics from our most recent adventures!
TEAM TRIP TO BEACH! JOURNEYMEN TOOK KIDDOS HOME AND GAVE ME AND GRANT AN OVERNIGHT VACATION. HAVE I MENTIONED HOW AMAZING OUR TEAM IS?!?!?!!
BEFORE CELEBRATING THE 4TH OF JULY, WE CELEBRATED MADAGASCAR'S INDEPENDENCE DAY. IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN FIREWORKS AND GLOWSTICKS! THE KIDS THOUGHT IT WAS PRETTY GREAT!
WE ARE NEVER SHORT OF SOME GOOD GIRL'S TIME HERE AND WE CAN MAKE ANYTHING MORE FUN WITH A THEME. FOR ALANNA'S BIRTHDAY (NICKOLEE'S SISTER), WE HAD A RAINBOW INSPIRED THEME. AS FUN AS THE COLORFUL DRESS WAS, THE BEST PART WAS THE FUNFETTI CAKE FROM AMERICA.
