Ambolofoty

Tessa's Tanalana story-crafting group (a part of the Mahafaly people group) has been faithfully meeting to craft stories into the Tanalana dialect. These stories have been incredibly helpful to our team as they have gone out and taught these stories among the growing believers south of Tulear. I have loved getting to go to Tessa's group and see all that God is doing in the lives of these believers who are crafting the stories. It has also been pretty amazing to see how all of the hard work Tessa has put into it has really started to bear some tangible fruit. One of the most exciting developments has been in the desire of the story crafters to use the stories they have crafted among the lost Tanalana people around Tulear. There is a nearby Tanalana village, just outside of Tulear, which the story crafting group has committed to going to every Tuesday.
It has been a lot of fun getting to meet new people, and to really be in a more rural setting. Its a nice break from the hustle and bustle of town life! Most of the people who come to meet weekly are women and children, and they are really enjoying getting to know all of the "vazaha" (foreigners) who come out to study the Bible with them every week. They are doing a great job of learning all of our names, and even miss us when one of us doesn't come one week! Please keep praying for Tessa's work with this crafting group, and please keep praying for the lost of Ambolofoty who are meeting weekly to learn about God!
