Growing Team
God has been so good to us this year! Having Tessa join our team was such a blessing. She has been the perfect first team mate for us. She has been so patient and encouraging, and we have had so much fun adjusting to having a team that actually includes other people! :) Adding Steve and Nickolee has been exciting as well. We are impatient for them to finish up language school and move down to Tulear, but we are enjoying hearing about all of their new experiences and adventures in language school. God truly blessed us with this family! They have been such an encouragement to us, and they aren't even here yet! :)
If that weren't enough...there are several families in orientation (Virginia), who will be coming to Madagascar in October. One family, the Hailes, will be working with the Tandroy people (one of the 5 southwest people groups). This group is highly unreached and is probably going to be one of the most challenging groups to engage on the island. The Tandroy people speak the most difficult dialect on the island and are one of the more isolated and difficult to reach physically and spiritually. God has given the Hailes such a heart and passion for these people, and we are so excited for them to get here and meet the people that they have been praying for for so long.
Along with the Hailes, there are two journeymen (committed to 2 years) who are at orientation in VA. They will be coming to work with Grant and Steve and the Mahafaly people. We have been waiting for this job request to get filled for a LONG time, and are so excited about the impact they can have on the people and the ministry.
Keep all of these people in prayer as they are all going through some crazy changes in their lives. Pray for us too, as we try to help them through all of these transitions.
